Kumaran bakery was established in 2005 as KRS Bakery at Dharapuram Road Palani. In September 2007, it was taken to next level by producing own bakery items, sweets and savouries and these were sold at my bakery and distributed to other bakerys at whole sale rate. Ten persons worked at that time in the shop and production unit under my supervision. The second branch of bakery was established in 2009 at Dindigul Road Palani. In 2015, the bakery was rechristened as Kumaran bakes and sweets and was shifted to Cine Valluvar Complex, Palani. All the products such as cakes,breads, buns,cookies, puffs, ice creams, fresh juices, fast food items, sweets and savouries being sold at the bakery are our own products being produced at my production unit. These products are being sold through online also to reach wider customer base. Now there are 10 persons working in the bakery and production unit. Out of these, two people have been with the bakery for more than 10 years, three people for more than 6 years, three people for more than 3 years. I took training related to bakery production and maintenance under the guidance of J M Lawrence, Coimbatore and at Masterline Demo bakery, Bangalore.
